Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi is a Hindu festival marking the birth of Ganesha. For this holy celebration, I got 4 days’ holiday from my work and hence I had already planned to visit Udaipur as I have heard so much about its beauty. Warm Hospitality Of Heritage Resort
So this quick getaway from Delhi took me and my best-friend to Udaipur in Rajasthan,– It was an exclusive experience with one of the best tourist attractions in the world. We stayed at The Heritage Resort, Udaipur.
Rajasthan has always been a special place to visit and my experience was made even more special this time with warm hospitality. Founded in 1994, Heritage Resort is a nature lover’s delight, to give a comprehensive environmental and cultural experience. The artistically designed resort full of royal comforts is an ageless structure surrounded by the Aravalli Hills, set amidst forested foothills, with a panoramic view of the famous temple Nagda and the shimmering Lake Bagela. It’s one of the most recognized luxury resorts in Udaipur that enables you to cherish the true essence of the town’s beauty.

I’m have made a photo-diary of my stay and experience at the property. As usual, I had so many pics as the interiors and the architecture of the resort was so magnificent. At each spot, I felt like I need to save this memory. Even the Lake Baghela, Aravalli Range and the tranquil scenery made me pull towards it and my friend and I ended up making a lot of videos of the view. We even signed up for warm swims and even some adrenaline-rush water games.
We even preferred something more idyllic, so simply got a spa treatment. The relaxation we experienced amidst Aravalli Hills and lush greenery cannot be put into words. Gladly we did not miss their exotic dine and wine by indulging at any other restaurant. Trust me, the view from the rooftop took our breaths away.
A quick drive to the main city, we zapped to the sunset viewpoint at Machala Magra Hill. We took the route beside Dudh Talai to reach this spot. We bought ourselves tickets for the cable ride that took us to the top of the sunset view peak. The excitement was palpable. We were losing our patience to catch the glimpse of the spectacular view from the top of the hill.
A slow inclined ascent of at least 15 minutes took us to the peak. There was a small temple when we reached there and we just enjoyed the amazing panoramic view of the city, Lake Pichhola, and Jag Mandir Island. The great Taj Lake Palace looked like a crystal floating on the blue waters and looked unrealistically aesthetic. Slowly the sun started settling down and we could see the night lights of the city come up, twinkling about the city’s landscape.
The view was magically mesmerizing. There wasn’t anything else we could ask more than the reassuring calmness we were experiencing. With our cameras already in place; we clicked a lot of pictures.
